My story in the fitness world started in 2005 as a salsa dance instructor and competitor. My passion for dance and exercise led me to become a Zumba Fitness instructor in 2007, followed quickly with other Group Fitness certifications like indoor cycling, Bodypump, bootcamp, TRX and more. I eventually become a Personal Trainer in 2012, and the rest is history. (My competitive dancing days are behind me, but I still love to cut a rug with the best of them!)

I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and have completed multiple specializations: Brain Health Trainer, Parkinson’s Fitness Specialist and Functional Aging Specialist to name a few. I have experience working with clients of all ages, and have dedicated a significant portion of my continuing education to working with special populations and older adults.

Over the years I have discovered that I have a gift for working with people who find it difficult to find inner motivation to exercise, whether due to fatigue, depression, poor self-image, hectic lives or perhaps a lack of a sense of vitality or purpose. I am an compassionate, ‘gentle trainer’ here to meet you where you are at, show you where your strengths lie and patiently increase your zone of comfort rather than force you past your limits.

My purpose is to help others enjoy happier, healthier lives and love themselves more, regardless of age, size, shape, current abilities or injuries. We can benefit in so many ways from moving more and getting stronger - and I want to help you achieve all those benefits and reach your personal health and wellness goals!
